Meet Badal Karki

Badal is a Junior majoring in Computer Science. He is an international student from Kathmandu, Nepal. He is an International President's Honorary Scholarship recipient. After Graduating from Truman State University, he aspires to be a Software Programmer. He works as a lab assistant in Ophelia Parrish and is an active member of Namaste Nepal. He loves playing soccer and enjoys spending time with his loved ones.

Tre'Andice Williams, a Sophomore Biology major, was just selected as a Truman Diversity Fellow and will be attending the National Conference on Race & Ethnicity (NCORE) this year. She was also recently selected for the NCORE Student Scholar Program. Tre'Andice is one of twenty Student Scholars out of a few hundred applicants.

STI Testing

Tuesday, February 5th 12:30pm-3: 30 pm in the University Health Center

The Women's Resource Center and the University Health Center are providing free STI tests for Truman's campus. This is completely free and all you need to do is walk into the health center and ask about the free STI tests. They will be testing for CHLAMYDIA AND GONORRHEA. On Feb. 4th the Women's Resource Center will be tabling in the SUB handing out information on STI. Feel free to stop by with any questions.

Conversation Partners is a program in which international and U.S. students meet every week for up to two hours to socialize. This is a great opportunity to learn about each other's cultures and make new friends.
