We hope you are having an excellent summer. We are finalizing the preparations for you to arrive in a couple of weeks. With move in for the SEE Institution approaching, we wanted to send out an email with some information that you might find helpful. If you have any questions that aren't answered in here, please call or email us with them. We look forward to your arrival!

Special Note About Summer Billing:
Summer bills have recently been sent out by the Business Office. Please note that all expenses associated with the SEE Program will be covered by our office. Unless you have enrolled in other courses at Truman for this Summer, the charges on your Summer bill should be disregarded. If you have questions associated with this, you can call our office, or Student Accounts for clarification.

Move In Info
Move in for SEE will be Sunday, July 28th. Please arrive at Missouri Hall between 8am-12pm. We will provide lunch for you and your family traveling with you. At 1:30, you will part ways with your family and the SEE Program will commence!

A lot of students ask what they should bring for the 2 week program, and you have two options:
|

|
Most students bring everything for the year with them on SEE move in day. We will have a mini move crew to help you get everything moved into your MO Hall, then we will have folks available to help get you moved to your Fall room assignment. You can also bring what you need for the two weeks, and have someone bring the rest of your things up for the larger freshman move in on Aug 14th.

Communications through Slack
This year, we are using Slack as a means for direct group and individual communication. This will give you access to group messaging, and access to professional staff quicker than an email.
|
Most major communication to the group will be distributed through Slack, so please sign up for this as soon as possible. We suggest that you make sure your notifications are turned on.

Get to know your SEE Staff!

All of the SEE Counselors are excited to get to know you. For those of you that we talked to at Orientation, we handed out a bio sheet with information about the student staff for SEE. For those who haven't gotten one yet, or who might have misplaced it amidst all of the other papers you've been getting from Truman, here it is again!
