Magdalena Carmen Frida Kahlo y Calderón, also known as Frida Kahlo, was a Mexican painter who was know for her many self-portraits and works that explored gender, race, and class in Mexican society. To this day Kahlo is regarded as an international icon that embodies Mexican culture, indigenous traditions, and the woman experience.

Explore the cultural, lyrical, and musical elements that embody Hip-Hop
Topics range from the Golden Era of Hip-Hop, the International stage, and even explore American rap artists of today

Further Information:
Through this course, students will demonstrate their musical and cultural understanding of Hip-Hop through class discussions, original compositions, and written exams. No prior formal music education is needed nor do students need to know musical notation in order to be successful in this course.

Goals of TruAlliance:
1) Establish proactive communication with student groups on campus

2) Enhance meaningful discussions about topics of importance to the students

3) Provide transparency about processes and procedures

4) To establish avenues for proactive, rather than reactive change on campus

This study is designed to evaluate the stress levels and collective coping skills of Black queer undergraduates.
|
|
Further Information:
Participants must be a Black undergraduate identifying as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Furthermore, participants will partake in an online in-depth interview and should take approximately one hour to ninety minutes.
