Mindset Matters

Ask & Advice Column

Q:

A: That might happen, its totally possible. Sit with the discomfort, learn from your mistakes, and try try again. Focus on what is under your control, and accept what you can't change.

Q: What coping strategies would you recommend for anxiety?

A: Deep breathing exercises are something that I always recommend for anxiety. Anything that helps to group yourself would be beneficial when dealing with anxiety so a weighted blanket would also be a great resource. Another great strategy is to try something like yoga, because it is not fast, it allows your body to calm down and your mind to slow down as you focus on your body.
